Preferred builders within Stonemill Farms meet or exceed Energy Star® requirements on new homes, helping to save money while protecting the environment through energy efficient products and practices.  To qualify for Energy Star status, a home must be constructed using energy efficient windows, products and insulation, with openings such as holes and cracks sealed to reduce draft. Builders also regularly use decomposing erosion control methods on home sites with homes under construction.
